Nonprofit Partner

Blaze Trails Running has supported military and veteran nonprofits since our founding in 2016. This year, we are proud to support GallantFew, a veterans’ nonprofit with headquarters in the DFW area.

GallantFew is an Army Ranger-led active duty and veteran military support organization founded in 2010 by Ranger Karl Monger to assist members of the Ranger community in reintegrating from active duty service to the civilian world.

GallantFew expanded in 2014 to offer services to Rangers and all members of the military community with a home base in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The organization supports veterans from all branches.

Over the past 15 years, GallantFew has assisted more than 8,000 members of the military community with connection, coaching, and counseling services from licensed and trained professionals in human resources, social work, and clinical counseling.

Beyond a financial donation, team members from GallantFew are invited to attend races in order to connect and educate our community. Veterans with the group participated in Rockledge Rumble, a race held over Veterans Day Weekend and one with a long history of honoring military members. In addition, the organization was invited to host a tent with information at Possum’s Revenge, a race held in May, just before Memorial Day.

Past organizations supported by Blaze Trails include Warrior Expedition and The Warrior’s Hike.

The trail running community is generous, and we know that many of you look for ways to get involved. Learn more, get connected or donate: www.gallantfew.org
